...No such thing as "trans". They are mentally ill faggots.
Depending on who you ask, the 27-year-old inmate who impregnated
two women in a New Jersey prison earlier this year is either a
martyr to the transgender cause — or a cold-blooded killer who
got involved in a messy love triangle behind bars.

Demi Minor, as a troubled foster kid — then called Demetrius —
had a record for burglaries and at least one carjacking at
gunpoint before brutally stabbing foster father Theotis “Ted”
Butts 27 times in 2011 at age 16.

“It was the worst murder scene I have ever seen,” Brad
Wertheimer, one of Minor’s defense lawyers in 2011, told The
Post. “There was blood everywhere. The community was outraged.
The [foster] dad was considered a great guy, an angel.”

But Demetrius is now Demi, a transgender woman activist fighting
to be returned to a women’s prison after being removed from the
state’s lone facility for females in June when it was discovered
she had impregnated two other inmates. She was sent to a lock-up
where she is the only person identifying as female. Her legal
team is fighting for her transfer under a new and controversial
state policy enabling inmates to be housed according to their
preferred gender identity.

Demi is also now an advocate for “juvenile justice” with an
elaborate social media presence and a team of advocates who’ve
backed her since 2020.

“She’s a force to be reckoned with, a triumph,” her new lawyer,
Derek Demeri, an advocate for the LGBTQ community, told The
Post. “I admire her ability to navigate the system. She’s pretty
level-headed and has risen above a lot.”

But Minor’s former foster mother, Dr. Wanda Broach-Butts, whose
husband was slain by Minor, said she believes Minor is a
manipulative “psychopath” using transgenderism as a ruse to get
special treatment and attention in jail. She said she worries
for the female inmates if Minor is returned to a women’s prison.

“I think all this about him being transgender is a ploy,” she
told The Post. “He’s manipulating people to get a better
situation for himself and to get attention. He’s learned the
language to use. He’s dangerous and he’s a psychopath.”

Minor, who’s serving a 30-year sentence for manslaughter and
carjacking, was moved two months ago from the Edna Mahan
Correctional Facility for Women to the Garden State Youth
Correctional Facility — a prison for young adults in Burlington
County, according to a New Jersey Department of Corrections
spokesman. State prison policy forbids sex between inmates.

The two women’s pregnancies were discovered in April after other
inmates at Edna Mahan sent letters to several media outlets
complaining about the housing of pre-op transgender prisoners at
the facility. Minor was one of about 27 transgender inmates
first moved to Edna Mahan after a new “gender self-ID” policy
was enacted in New Jersey last year. This policy was sponsored
by the ACLU along with Garden State Equality, which is openly
financed in part by George Soros’ Open Society Foundations.
Minor’s attorney Demeri used to work for the NJ ACLU as well as
for the Red Umbrella Alliance, an advocacy group for sex workers
that is partially funded by Soros, and wouldn’t confirm whether
or not he is working for Minor pro bono.

Minor is now in a “vulnerable” housing unit in the youth
facility where she is the only woman and has extra protection,
her spokesman said.

It was initially reported by DOC officials that Minor had
impregnated two inmates after engaging in “consensual sexual
relationships” at Edna Mahan. One of the women is Latonia
Bellamy, a convicted double-murderer, who is in a relationship
with Minor and due to give birth this fall. She was convicted,
along with her female cousin and one man, in the carjacking-
related homicides of a newly-engaged couple in Jersey City in
2010.

Demeri told The Post this week that the other relationship was
“coerced” on Minor.

“One was absolutely consensual,” said Demeri. “But in the other
case, Demi was a victim of coercion.” Demeri said that the
second woman, who was jealous of Bellamy, snuck into Minor’s
cell and threatened her into having sex, saying “I’ll beat your
bitch up.”

Even so, “Demi doesn’t classify it as rape. The Dept. of
Corrections knew it wasn’t totally consensual,” said Demeri.

After the encounter, the woman — who has not been identified —
got pregnant but had it terminated, several sources told The
Post.

In addition to Demeri, Minor’s other supporters include a
notorious former professor at the John Jay College of Criminal
Justice, Mike Isaacson, who identifies as a member of Antifa, co-
founded the anti-white supremacy group Smash Racism in
Washington DC, and once referred to dead police officers as “pig
death stats.” (Isaacson later apologized for his comments,
saying he regretted making “the John Jay community … the target
of death threats and harassment,” adding, “so much for free
speech.”)

Isaacson and Minor’s other backers see the inmate as a victim of
the foster care system and of a prison system that discriminates
against black trans women.

“Justice for Demi was founded as a juvenile justice and
LGBT2SQAI+ rights organization seeking structural changes to
remediate the injustices Demi faced throughout her life as a
black trans female with … an awful experience in the foster and
criminal punishment systems,” a Justice 4 Demi spokesman told
The Post.

But Broach-Butts, 63, is skeptical about Minor’s crusade and her
real motives.

Broach-Butts, who fostered seven boys total with her husband, is
a professor of nursing who also spent years overseeing some
mental health programs in the state prison system.

She wrote a book about her ordeal that was published last fall,
“The Ice Underneath: My Passage Through Loss and Faith,” in
which she writes about forgiving Minor and trying to move on
with her life.

At the same time, she worries about Minor’s push to be returned
to a women’s prison.

“It’s not a good idea, especially for the female inmates,” she
said.

Broach-Butts said she was initially so traumatized by the murder
of her husband in July 2011 that it was only her strong
religious faith that enabled her to go on.

“My husband was stabbed from his chin to his ankle,” she said.

But she recovered enough, she said, to formally address Minor in
court during the manslaughter case and forgive her foster child.

“He didn’t say a word back to me,” she recalled. “There was no
remorse, just a total flat affect, like a psychopath.”

Broach-Butts, like several others who knew Minor a decade ago,
said they never saw any instance of gender dysphoria or
transgenderism in her youth.

“He was angry at gay people when I knew him,” Broach-Butts said.

Minor’s uncle, Tyrone Wright, said he hasn’t seen Minor since
she went to prison but he never saw any gender dysphoria in his
nephew. He does not believe Minor is truly transgender.

“If I were incarcerated for any reason and was going to have to
do a lot of time, I’d do everything I could to make it easier,
you know what I’m saying?” Wright said. “I call bulls–t on this.”

Minor has a complicated background. Her biological mother,
Michelle Minor, was stabbed to death in Oct. 2004 in a still-
unsolved murder years ago in the Bridgeton, NJ, area. Her
biological father, Allahdjinn Wright, is a New Jersey minister
and certified drug and alcohol counselor for the Department of
Corrections who was arrested in March on charges of sexually
assaulting a teen girl he was supposed to help. (Wright remains
free pending trial on those charges.

Demi was 14 and called Demetrius when the Butts family took her
in. Her former foster mother had warned Minor’s new parents that
the youth had problems. Butts said the then-teen was not
physically violent with them in the home but had to be removed
after numerous instances of difficult behavior, including
stealing. Minor was reportedly confronted by her foster father
when she broke into the Butts’ house in July 2011 and then
stabbed him.

On her website, Minor complains in numerous blog posts about
being repeatedly “misgendered” and said she’s been suicidal over
losing her rights as a trans woman.

In a July 15 blog post, Minor wrote that she was placed on
suicide watch at the new facility “due to the fact that I had
hung myself in the van.” She claimed guards denied her request
to be strip-searched by a female DOC officer.

“[NJDOC] have violated my right to be safe and free from sexual
harassment, by putting me in one of the most violent youth
Correctional facilities,” Minor wrote. “While living here at
GYSC, I have found my self (sic) under attack by young inmates
who are immature and just plain ignorant towards a person like
me.”

Minor also lamented the fact that she has been separated from
the mother of her baby.

“Demi is very afraid for her life and safety,” Demeri told The
Post this week. “Her gender dysphoria is aggravated. Her gender
identity is not acknowledged and is affecting her mental health.”

...Nobody will miss a Democrat "political consultant".
Two more parents have come forward to warn New Yorkers about
organized crime gangs who are drugging and robbing young men at
gay bars in Hell’s Kitchen and are suspected of murdering at
least two victims.

The NYPD has formed a grand larceny task force to investigate at
least a dozen similar non-fatal cases in which well-dressed
victims were targeted by three men at gay bars, drugged, and
robbed of tens of thousands of dollars, after their bank
accounts were emptied and credit cards maxed out.

The homicide squad separately is investigating at least two
associated murders.

The medical examiner also is examining deaths previously thought
to be drug overdoses to see if there are toxicological links to
the gangs.

While most of the venues targeted are gay bars, at least one
victim was approached at an Irish pub in Greenwich Village.

Linda Clary, the courageous mother of homicide victim John
Umberger, 33, spoke out last week to warn other young New
Yorkers about the menace lurking on their nights out.

Her son, a Washington, DC, political consultant, was drugged and
robbed by three unidentified men believed to have targeted him
at Eighth Avenue gay nightclub The Q NYC on May 28.

When Umberger’s body was found on June 1 in an Upper East Side
apartment where he was staying, his cellphone was missing, and
more than $25,000 had been transferred out of his accounts
through cash apps such as Venmo and PayPal.

“This same group of killers have drugged, robbed and murdered
countless young gay men in New York,” Clary told The Post.

Five weeks earlier, in near identical circumstances, Brooklyn
social worker Julio Ramirez, 25, was found dead in the back of a
taxi on the Lower East Side, an hour after he was seen in the
company of three unidentified men leaving a gay club on West
46th Street, two blocks from The Q NYC, around 3:17 a.m.
Thursdayon April 21. His phone and credit cards were missing and
about $20,000 was stolen from his bank accounts and credit cards.

Preliminary toxicology reports show both Umberger and Ramirez
died of drug overdoses, but evidence suggests they had been
“roofied,” the colloquial term for someone spiking their drinks
with date-rape drugs, sources say. Umberger’s toxicology tests
found cocaine, lidocaine, and fentanyl in his system. Lidocaine
is an anesthetic which causes confusion and drowsiness, and
fentanyl is a deadly potent synthetic opioid responsible for the
current US epidemic of drug deaths.

After reading our story about Umberger and Ramirez, the father
of an NYU student told The Post on Thursday that his 21-year-old
son also was victimized at The Q NYC bar where Umberger was last
seen.

His son, a film student who wants to remain anonymous, has told
police that he was befriended by three men at the Eighth Avenue
bar between 2:42 a.m. and closing time on April 8. He then
invited them back to his apartment in the West Village for beers
with a female friend of his.

He believes he and his friend were drugged soon after arriving
home. When they regained consciousness late the next morning,
his phone had been stolen and both their wallets were missing.
His accounts had been emptied using phone apps, Apple Cash,
Venmo and PayPal, his credit cards had been used on liquor and
shoes in Brooklyn and at a department store in Manhattan. The
criminals also managed to start a credit card application with
Goldman Sachs on his phone. His laptop and other personal items
were stolen from his apartment. The losses added up to about
$15,000.

The father said the three perpetrators “are able to gain
people’s trust and confidence. They are like con men . . .”

“They’ve been preying on the gay community, and they pretend to
be gay themselves. They see a young person like my son, and they
see an easy victim . . . It’s definitely very well planned and
executed.”

He believes the criminals unlocked his son’s phone with facial
recognition by holding it in front of his face while he was
unconscious.

In denial
His son initially was in denial about the crime, telling his
father, “No dad, I was drinking so I fell asleep.” But
eventually he “realized he was victimized” and gave a
description of the assailants to the grand larceny task force,
along with details of financial transactions and receipts for
Uber trips the criminals took around Brooklyn and Manhattan at 5
a.m. after ripping him off.

Another mother contacted The Post this week to say that she
believes her 21-year-old son also was drugged in the summer when
he was separated from friends on a night out at Fiddlesticks
Irish pub in the West Village. She asked to remain anonymous but
has told her story to homicide detectives involved in Umberger’s
case.

At about 12:22 a.m. on June 4, her son’s three female friends
went to the bathroom and left him at the bar sipping his second
vodka soda. Immediately, a man dressed as a bouncer approached
him, said, “It’s time to go,” and escorted him outside.

He remembers suddenly feeling disoriented as he stood on the
sidewalk trying to ask the “bouncer” why he was being evicted.
But he can’t remember anything more until he woke up at his
parents’ apartment on the Upper West Side at 10 a.m. His phone
was missing, and his bank accounts had been cleaned out of more
than $4,000. And, frighteningly, he found a puncture mark on his
inner arm.

It was a similar M.O. to the attacks by the Hell’s Kitchen gang,
except she says he is not gay and Fiddlesticks is not a gay
venue.

Three men also were seen on surveillance footage with him
outside his home at 1:30 a.m., but they looked to be a different
race to the description of the men involved in the Hell’s
Kitchen homicides.

It appears that there are at least “two different groups of
perpetrators,” says a law enforcement source.

Difficult to link
The cases initially were difficult to link together because many
of the victims were reluctant to report the crimes to police or
didn’t want to divulge drug use on the night they were targeted,
says the source.

“Nobody wants to tell a cop they were snorting coke.”

Another complication is that, thanks to state criminal justice
reforms, larceny now is treated by the courts as a nonviolent
offense and suspects cannot be held on bail.

The office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has been
accused of impeding the investigations, but a spokesperson for
the DA said this week: “Our thoughts are with these families and
the entire LGBTQIA+ community. A dedicated team of senior
homicide prosecutors and specially assigned analysts continues
to actively investigate alongside the NYPD as we await the
Medical Examiner’s findings.”

The message Clary and the other parents want to convey to young
people in New York is never to go out to a bar alone.

“Please be careful,” says Clary. “Always have a buddy with you,
and never let your friends go out alone.”

...Democrats own the queer deaths. Never accept queers. Put them down.
For three days after the Colorado gay nightclub massacre
Democrats and their media allies smeared conservative opponents
of drag queen groomer hour as “stochastic terrorists” who are to
blame for the tragedy.

Then, to their chagrin on Tuesday, the suspect’s lawyers filed
court papers saying he identifies as nonbinary and uses the
pronouns “they, them.”

Suddenly their right-wing homophobia narrative collapsed in a
heap. Not that it caused them any self-reflection. They will
just wait for the next opportunity to weaponize a tragedy.

Of course, for all their emoting, they never had any genuine
concern for the five Colorado victims, who were just weapons to
wield against their most effective opponents on the right.

Just as the left transformed George Floyd’s death under the knee
of a white cop into a race civil war that won them votes in the
2020 election, they planned to turn the Club Q massacre into a
new culture war. They are panicking because Elon Musk has
dismantled the left-wing censorship regime on Twitter that
propped up so many of their dishonest narratives, so their aim
is to justify a new round of censorship by pretending
conservatives are provoking anti-LGBTQ violence.

There is no tragedy they will not exploit for political benefit.
But their haste to judge has left them with egg on their face.

Whatever the story is behind Colorado suspect Anderson Lee
Aldrich’s gender reveal, what has been obvious from the start is
that he is a mentally ill person whose life was littered with
red flags that should at least have kept him away from guns.

Why did authorities not act on a 2021 complaint from Aldrich’s
grandparents that he planned to carry out a mass shooting, as
reported Wednesday by KKTV 11 News from old arrest papers?

There are lots of useful lessons to be taken from the tragedy,
but demonizing Fox News is not one of them. An obese 22-year-old
who reportedly was bullied at school, Aldrich had been abandoned
by his drug-addict, porno-actor father, and left to the tender
mercies of a mother with her own drug habit, run-ins with the
law and a “severe borderline personality disorder.”

None of this was of any interest to Michelle Goldberg, a New
York Times Op-Ed staff writer who didn’t even wait until the
bodies were cold before politicizing the massacre in a
mendacious piece titled “Club Q and the Demonization of Drag
Queens.”

Her line is that far-right villains such as Tucker Carlson and
Ron DeSantis are responsible for fostering an “escalating anti-
gay and anti-trans violence [and] growing moral panic about
children being ‘groomed’ into gender nonconformity.”

“They don’t get to duck responsibility if a sick man with a gun
took them seriously,” she says.

Her pantheon of evildoers included conservative writer Chris
Rufo. But a cursory glance at his work reveals careful, evidence-
based essays mainly in the prestigious City Journal. He has done
parents a service by shining a light on the sinister ideological
origins of Drag Queen Story Hour and attempts to hypersexualize
children, indoctrinate them into “queer theory” and confuse them
about their sex.

This is serious reporting that the Times will probably get
around to doing in a few years when it becomes impossible to
ignore class actions from grown-up children who were tricked
into ruining their lives with gender surgery and hormone therapy.

Goldberg also named Matt Walsh, The Daily Wire writer who
unflinchingly covers the sick fad of surgical mutilation of
children done under the euphemistic cover of “gender
affirmation.” His reporting forced Tennessee’s Vanderbilt
University transgender clinic to “pause” its lucrative and
irreversible gender surgery on children, including double
mastectomies on girls.

Goldberg also threw in QAnon and the Proud Boys, for smear by
association.

Equally dishonest was NBC, where two of the worst disinformation
activists in the media, Ben Collins and his collaborator Brandy
Zadrozny, the doxing specialist, piled onto the opportunistic
orgy of blame. Fox News and the entire Republican Party were to
blame for Colorado in their telling.

Elon Musk also is guilty because he unbanned psychologist Jordan
Peterson, satirical site Babylon Bee and Libs of TikTok, an
account which simply reposts videos taken off the social media
platform TikTok, showcasing the self-published views of the
nation’s most unhinged leftists, including teachers who boast
about secretly bombarding their young charges with sexual
propaganda.

“We follow online hate trends [and] since April and March the
LGBT community has been the main focus of this hatred,” said
Zadrozny. “There is a pipeline. It starts from some smaller
accounts online like Libs of TikTok, it moves to the right-wing
blogosphere, and then it ends up on Tucker Carlson or it ends up
out of a right-wing politician’s mouth. It’s a dangerous cycle
and it does have real world consequences.”

Collins delivered an even more extraordinary diatribe on NBC’s
“Morning Joe” Tuesday, blaming the Colorado massacre on anyone
who has voiced opposition to kids being subjected to the sexual
burlesque of Drag Queen Story Hour.

“We have to have a ‘Come to Jesus’ moment here as reporters,” he
said.

“Are we more afraid of being on Breitbart for saying that trans
people deserve to be alive or are we more afraid of the dead
people?”

Who is saying trans people “don’t deserve to be alive?”

Precisely nobody.

But Collins’ monologue was built on that straw man, as the
boomer fools alongside him on NBC’s set nodded along to his self-
aggrandizing fantasies.

“These bodies are not in the ground yet and they are being used
as political props right now,” said Collins, “explicitly for
electoral or monetary purpose.”

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

It is Democrats and their media allies who have been using the
Club Q victims as political props.

Claire McCaskill, the former Democratic senator, popped up on
NBC to cast blame on Trump and DeSantis, as the strapline “WAPO:
Club Q shooting follows year of bomb threats, drag protests,
anti-trans bills” appeared on screen for subliminal emphasis.

“Donald Trump has written the playbook that a lot of politicians
are following . . . Ron DeSantis is embracing this with
everything he’s got that somehow making people different than
you a bad guy gets people to vote for you . . . It is terribly
depressing and evil and bad for our culture . . . You get
violence.”

I mean, hello. McCaskill just described the “ultra MAGA,” “semi-
fascist” demonization strategy the Democrats deployed so
successfully for the midterms.

This is their playbook in a nutshell. Accusing their opponents
for their own hateful tactics. This time it backfired. But there
will always be a next time.

...Alvin has my vote!
A gang that preys on gay men at Hell’s Kitchen nightclubs is
suspected of killing at least two victims and of drugging and
robbing more than a dozen other men — but Manhattan District
Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office is impeding the investigation, law
enforcement sources say.

An NYPD homicide investigation into the serial killings has
expanded to include robberies with the unexplained deaths of two
well-heeled young men, who were attacked under nearly identical
circumstances five weeks and two blocks apart last spring.

Their phones were missing when their bodies were found, and
their bank accounts had been emptied of tens of thousands of
dollars. Each victim was last seen with three unidentified men
in the hours before they died.

Five months later, New Yorkers still have not been warned that
the predatory gang is on the loose.

But the mother of one victim has decided to break her silence to
protect other young men from suffering the same fate as her son,
John Umberger, 33, a Washington, DC, political consultant who
disappeared after a night out in May while visiting New York for
work.

“I can’t be quiet anymore,” Linda Clary told The Post.

“Word needs to get out, especially in the gay community, that
they are targeting gay men. … This same group of killers have
drugged, robbed and murdered countless young gay men in New
York.”

Final moments
Her son last used his credit card around 3 a.m. Saturday, May
28, at The Q NYC, a multistory gay nightclub at 795 Eighth Ave.,
where he had gone alone after a late dinner with friends at Tao
Downtown in Chelsea.

He ordered and canceled a cab at 3:15 a.m. and was last seen
about an hour later on a surveillance camera with three
unidentified men in a car outside the Upper East Side townhouse
where he was staying. The footage from a nearby building shows
Umberger getting out of the car with two of the men, who entered
the townhouse with him but left without him after about 45
minutes.

Between 5:19 a.m. and 5:37 a.m., someone responded to six text
messages on Umberger’s phone, but Clary believes it was not her
son. At 9:18 a.m., Umberger’s phone stopped sharing its location
with his younger sister and two brothers. A text message sent by
Clary to her son at 8:24 p.m. was marked as “read,” so she
thought he was safe.

“I thought John was reading my texts but was too busy and
ignoring me. You let a day go by, a day go by and then you say,
‘This is weird.’”

Her son’s body was found four days later, on June 1, in a fifth-
floor apartment of a townhouse at 34 E. 61st St., which is owned
by conservative lawyer Jay Sekulow’s American Center for Law and
Justice, where Umberger was director of diplomacy and political
programs.

His cellphone was missing, and his credit cards had been stolen
from his wallet. More than $25,000 had been transferred out of
his accounts through cash apps on his phone such as Venmo and
PayPal, by changing the passwords, says his mom. There also was
a failed attempt to empty his Charles Schwab trust fund account.

His credit cards later were used to buy booze at a liquor store
near a homeless shelter and items at a Foot Locker.

Five weeks earlier, in similar circumstances, Brooklyn social
worker Julio Ramirez, 25, was captured by a security camera
leaving the Ritz Bar and Lounge, a gay club on West 46th Street,
two blocks from The Q NYC, with three unidentified men around
3:17 a.m. Thursday, April 21.

He was found dead in the back of a taxi an hour later, on the
Lower East Side. His phone and wallet were missing, and his bank
accounts had been emptied of about $20,000. Like Umberger, his
money was cleaned out by his tech-savvy killers via apps such as
Venmo and Zelle; his credit cards were maxed out on expensive
dinners and spa services.

Earlier that night, Ramirez and a friend had visited two other
Hell’s Kitchen gay bars within a half-mile of The Q NYC and the
Ritz: Mickey Spillane’s and Rise Bar, both on Ninth Avenue.

Preliminary toxicology reports show both Umberger and Ramirez
died of drug overdoses, but evidence suggests they had been
“roofied,” the colloquial term for someone spiking their drinks
with date-rape drugs, sources say.

“We need to stop this,” says Clary, who believes the gang has
killed other young men and will continue to prey on New York’s
gay community.

She has nothing but praise for the detectives investigating
Umberger’s death, who she says have worked hard to identify
suspects, but she accuses the District Attorney’s Office of
“refusing to prosecute my son’s killers.”

“New York is unnecessarily unsafe, and it breaks my heart
because John was so excited to be in Manhattan. He loved being
there,” she said, paying tribute to her late eldest child. “He
was a little ray of sunshine.”

Clary has come to New York from her home in Atlanta to demand
action for her son and the other victims.

Help us, Lee
Over the weekend, she recorded a video message for the Save Our
State group urging a vote for Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin in
Tuesday’s gubernatorial election: “Lee Zeldin has promised to
restore safety to New York and to fire District Attorney Alvin
Bragg on day one. This election may be the last opportunity to
hold my son’s killers accountable.”

An NYPD spokesperson did not answer The Post’s questions about
the serial killings of gay men, other than to say: “The
investigations remain ongoing, [and] the medical examiner will
determine the causes of death.”

A five-month delay in toxicology reports may be a death sentence
for potential future victims, but it’s commonplace at medical
examiner’s offices, which have been hit by staffing shortages,
an overload of cases due to COVID-19, an increased homicide rate
and a spike in fentanyl overdoses due to the open southern
border.

Thus, the breakdown of law and order in New York — thanks to
disastrous polices of Democrats at the federal, state and local
levels — has ramifications throughout the criminal justice
system that go well beyond policing.

Prosecutors in Bragg’s office, for instance, appear to be
paralyzed — whether from overwork or ideology, it’s unclear. But
since his woke Day One memo in January ordering staff to stop
seeking prison sentences and downgrade felony charges in various
cases, he has been hit by an unprecedented number of
resignations of assistant district attorneys.

Zeldin will have his work cut out for him to fix this mess, but
at least he knows what the problem is, unlike Gov. Kathy Hochul,
who still is in denial that we are facing a crime emergency.

In that she is aided by a compliant media, including Bravo TV
star Andy Cohen, who endorsed Hochul on Saturday, ironically
enough, at a Stonewall event to try to rally LGBTQ turnout.

Not a mention of the menace stalking New York’s gay community.

...The parents raised queers. They are responsible foer their deaths.
Manhattan Councilman Erik Bottcher is urging the LGBTQ community
to be “extra vigilant” when going out for a night on the town
after the suspicious deaths of two gay men in Hell’s Kitchen.

Bottcher gathered with volunteers in the popular nightlife
neighborhood Thursday night to hand out fliers with safety tips
and raise awareness that one or more people may be targeting,
drugging and robbing gay men in the area.

The council member — a gay man himself who has spent much of his
career in public service advocating for and supporting the LBGTQ
community — urged bargoers to be on high alert after two men, 25-
year-old Julio Ramirez and 35-year-old John Umberger, were both
found dead in separate incidents after a night out at New York
City gay bars.

“We demand justice for the deaths of Julio Ramirez and John
Umberger,” Bottcher said as he handed out fliers at the corner
of 9th Avenue and 49th Street. “We will not be cowed. We will
not be intimidated. We will not stay home. But we want there to
be ongoing campaign of awareness.”

Bottcher and a team of volunteers planned to drop the fliers in
bars throughout Hell’s Kitchen, Chelsea and the West Village.

“We want people to be extra vigilant right now while the
investigation is underway,” he said.

Bottcher said he spoke to both the Manhattan District Attorney’s
office and the NYPD Thursday night and was assured that they
each have a full team investigating the deaths.

“So I’m hopeful that the investigation will be successful in the
near future,” he said. “But in the meantime, we want to get
things out there spreading the word making sure people have
heard.”

Ramirez died in the back of a cab in the early hours of April 21
and Umberger, of Washington, DC, was discovered dead on June 1
in the Upper East Side apartment where he was staying.

Both Ramirez and Umberger died of an overdose, were robbed of
their phones and wallets and had their bank accounts completely
drained. About $20,000 was stolen from Ramirez’s bank accounts
and credit cards and $25,000 has been transferred out of
Umberger’s accounts through cash apps like Venmo and Paypal.

Police believed the victims were drugged with roofies, known as
the “date-rape drug.”

Investigators believe both men went to the Eighth Avenue gay
nightclub, The Q NYC, where they were each targeted by a group
of three men before they wound up dead the next morning.

Police believe at least a dozen non-fatal cases in which victims
were drugged and robbed are related. The NYPD has formed a grand
larceny task force to investigate the crimes in which well-
dressed victims were targeted by three men at gay bars, drugged,
and robbed of tens of thousands of dollars, after their bank
accounts were emptied and credit cards maxed out.

Bottcher said he wants people to have the information they need
to remain safe — with the number one tip being to share one’s
location with others when going out.

“The first tip to me is one of the most important, which is
always share your location with someone you know and tell them
who you’re with,” he said. “So if you’re leaving with someone,
you know, just let people know — someone know — where you’re
going, who you’re going with.”

Other tips on the fliers, compiled by the NYC Office of
Nightlife, include to never leave drinks unattended or accept
drinks from strangers, use fentanyl test strips to check for the
presence of the deadly drug in other drugs, have a travel pan to
get home safe and never leave with a stranger without telling a
friend.

Bottcher wants to spread awareness of the potential dangers as
well as the safety tips across all five boroughs.

“We want this to happen all over the city. So we’re working with
the Office of Nightlife to push this out far and wide.“

But Demetrius is now Demi, a transgender woman activist fighting
to be returned to a women’s prison after being removed from the
state’s lone facility for females in June when it was discovered
she had impregnated two other inmates. She was sent to a lock-up
where she is the only person identifying as female. Her legal
team is fighting for her transfer under a new and controversial
state policy enabling inmates to be housed according to their
preferred gender identity.
I have a better idea. Complete his reassignment (the right will
probably complain about the State paying for it) and after his penis
and testicles have been removed, put him in a female prison.

...Real humans don't like queers.
It wasn’t out of culinary curiosity, that’s for sure.

With interest in Jeffrey Dahmer skyrocketing thanks to the hit
Netflix miniseries “Dahmer —Monster,” a journalist who
interviewed the Milwaukee Monster in person has revealed the
shocking reason why he ate his victims. Emmy-winning producer
Nancy Glass dropped the grisly bombshell during a Wednesday
appearance on the Australian radio show “Kyle & Jackie O.”

“He said he chose to eat them because he wanted them to be part
of him,” declared Glass, 67, who runs Glass Entertainment Group,
the Daily Mail reported. “He was so desperate, so desperately
lonely, so ashamed of being gay.”

The TV broadcaster had famously spoken to the then-imprisoned
killer in 1993 for the TV show “Inside Edition,” marking the
first time Dahmer had been interviewed in public since receiving
a life sentence for his crimes. It reportedly took 18 months to
secure the exclusive — a process that required Glass to
establish a relationship with the killer’s family.

During these candid one-on-ones, the journalist attempted to
delve into the mind of the man-eater, who had notoriously
murdered 17 men and boys — and ate some of their corpses —
between 1978 and 1991 before getting apprehended. He was then
beaten to death by fellow inmate Christopher Scarver in 1994.

Glass concluded that — unlike fictional cannibal Hannibal
Lecter, who relished the taste of human flesh — Dahmer consumed
his victims out of loneliness. She disclosed that the
Wisconsinite suffered from “bonding” problems caused by his
mother, who wouldn’t let anyone touch Dahmer as a baby “except
to change his diaper,” per the Daily Mail.

As a result, the Milwaukee Cannibal reportedly suffered from
severe abandonment issues, which, in his twisted mind, could
only be remedied by eating people, thereby ensuring they would
be with him forever. Glass also disclosed that Dahmer’s mother —
who passed away in 2000 — had been downing many prescription
medications while pregnant with him, which may have contributed
to his warped mental state.

Elsewhere in the interview, the serial-killer whisperer claimed
that Dahmer dosed people with chemicals because he wanted to
create mindless slaves, presumably so they couldn’t leave him.

“‘He injected drugs into people,” she said, describing the
killer’s methods. “He drilled holes in some and poured acid into
everything he could, because he wanted to create a zombie.”

Despite his appalling crimes, Glass claimed that Dahmer seemed
“perfectly normal” in person.

“It was odd. I mean, you can hear the way he’s talking to me is
very thoughtful,” the reporter recalled. “He contemplated, but
he’s a psychopath.”

She added, “He says to me, ‘I’m sorry for what I did.’ But he’s
a psychopath. He doesn’t even know what those words mean.”

Nonetheless, Glass told the “Kyle & Jackie O” hosts that she
never felt sorry for Dahmer during their prison correspondences.
She added that she maintained professional distance and withheld
judgment just as she would when interviewing any public figure.

“You guys interview how many people?” Glass explained while
describing her process. “And basically I’m the same as you. You
go at it from a very professional standpoint.”

She added, “When you’re you’re interviewing a politician. You’re
careful, right? You don’t judge. But ask the question so that
everybody listening can judge — and that was my job.”

The revelations come as Ryan Murphy’s “Dahmer — Monster: The
Jeffrey Dahmer Story,” has smashed streaming records on Netflix.
The series, which stars Evan Peters in the title role, became
the platform’s ninth most-watched English-language show of all
time, logging a whopping 496.1 million viewing hours to date,
per Variety.

Meanwhile, at least 56 million homes have watched all 10
episodes of the series, which follows the blood-spattered
escapades of Dahmer as told from the points of view of his
victims.

While undoubtedly popular, “Dahmer” also sparked a backlash from
many of the serial killer’s victims’ families, who felt like
watching the show made them relive past trauma.

One of the incensed relatives, Eric Perry, whose 19-year-old
cousin Errol Lindsey was brutally murdered by Dahmer in July
1991, wrote on Twitter: “I’m not telling anyone what to watch, I
know true crime media is huge rn, but if you’re actually curious
about the victims, my family (the Isbell’s) are pissed about
this show.”

He also included an eerie side-by-side, juxtaposing a pic of his
cousin, Rita Isbell, testifying at Dahmer’s trial with one of
the series’ reenactments.

Isbell claimed that Netflix did not consult or pay her for the
reenactment of her emotional courtroom outburst.

“When I saw some of the show, it bothered me, especially when I
saw myself — when I saw my name come across the screen and this
lady saying verbatim exactly what I said,” Isbell reportedly
said. “If I didn’t know any better, I would’ve thought it was
me. Her hair was like mine, she had on the same clothes.”

She added, “That’s why it felt like reliving it all over again.
It brought back all the emotions I was feeling back then.”

...He's just following Obamas' example.
A member of a violent Manhattan robbery crew that targets
patrons at Big Apple nightclubs — including gay bars — has been
arrested and charged with murder in the overdose deaths of two
partygoers, police said Thursday.

Kenwood Allen, 33, is allegedly part of the vicious gang that
has been drugging inebriated revelers and robbing them — with at
least 26 attacks since March.

“They target their victims leaving bars, offering drugs in some
cases, then either through force or when the victim passes out,
they remove jewelry, money, high-end watches and phones from
their victims,” NYPD Chief of Detectives James Essig said at a
press briefing.

Police said the crimes turned deadly when two of the victims
overdosed and died after partying at Lower East Side night spots.

Allen — who has 17 busts on his rap sheet — is charged in the
March 18 death of Nurbo Shera at a club on Seventh Street, and
the death of Ardijan Berisha at 52 Ludlow St. on July 30, Essig
said.

“We don’t particularly think that they’re targeting gay
members,” Essig said. “This is based solely on monetary gain.”

He said Allen was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury last week
on the murders, as well as two counts of robbery and one count
of assault in the robbery spree.

Police also arrested a second suspect but had not named that
individual.

Essig said cops have identified at least five members of the
crew, and that the investigation into the crimes is ongoing.

The Post previously reported that a gang of thieves targeting
gay nightclubs was terrorizing Hell’s Kitchen and surrounding
areas through their deadly game.

Police said Thursday that Allen’s crew’s MO is to take advantage
of drunk patrons.

“We believe that the perpetrators are targeting individuals that
are coming out of the bars late at night because they’re
intoxicated,” NYPD Lt. Dave Leonardo said.

“They’re approaching them offering them narcotics,” Leonardo
said. “At this point, based on our lab investigation, it looks
like our narcotic is laced with multiple narcotics that were
purchased over the black web, and then made into a cocktail.

“It was a mix of lidocaine, fentanyl, cocaine, and we believe
the lidocaine really had the effect of incapacitating these
people to the point where like the chief mentioned.”

He said the drugs take effect “almost immediately.”

Allen, of the Bronx, wore blue jeans and a green and brown plaid
flannel shirt at his Manhattan Criminal Court arraignment
Thursday.

He was hit with two counts of second-degree murder, three counts
of first-degree robbery, two counts of third-degree criminal
possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-
degree robbery, and two counts of second-degree assault,
Manhattan prosecutors said.

Assistant District Attorney Brian Rodkey said in court that
prosecutors “intend to bring additional homicide charges” in the
case.

“The defendant drugged his victims with fentanyl in order to rob
them of their phones, credit cards or watch,” Rodkey said. “He
then left his victims to overdose on the street, not caring if
they lived or died.”

Allen’s lawyer, Timothy Pruitt, said his client works as a
barber in the Bronx.

Judge Felicia Mennin ordered him held without bail pending a
return court appearance on Feb. 16.

“Nobody should have to worry that a night out at a Manhattan bar
with friends could end in tragedy,” Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg
said in a statement. “This murder indictment is the result of a
long-term and ongoing investigation with our law enforcement
partners to keep our city safe.”
