According to Chief of Patrol Joseph Kenny, cops are looking for 39-year-old Kashaan Parks, who police believe used a belt to choke out at a 45-year-old woman on 152nd Street and 3rd Avenue before dragging her between two parked cars on May 1st and raping her.

Police have identified the man wanted for a brutal rape in the Bronx, where the suspect is seen wrapping a belt around the victim’s neck and dragging her down the street before engaging in a disturbing sexual act.

According to Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny, cops are looking for 39-year-old Kashaan Parks, who police believe used a belt to choke out a 45-year-old woman on 152nd Street and 3rd Avenue before dragging her between two parked cars on May 1 and raping her. With the suspect identified, cops believe an arrest will be imminent.

Video footage of the incident, which was caught by a security camera, has gone viral online in recent days. However, cops say they were not immediately aware of the incident since the victim did not report the shocking sex attack.

It wasn’t until the woman was arrested for petty larceny that cops learned of the incident.

However, once detectives asked her about the attack, she fully cooperated and managed to identify the attacker due to distinctive gaps in his teeth.

“Our victim indicated that she had seen him before; she actually described his teeth to us; he had unusual teeth,” Chief Kenny explained. “She said he has space between his teeth.”

Police say they believe the vicious assault stemmed from a conversation the pair had earlier in the night, which involved a promise of money for sex. Yet when the alleged agreement did not come to fruition, Parks allegedly leaped into a rage and slung the belt around the victim’s neck and raped her.

The incident has spawned widespread condemnation from viewers across the internet, including elected officials who have denounced the attack.

Kill him.

Kashaan Parks

NEW YORK -- A video circulating online helped lead to the arrest of the suspect in a violent assault and rape in the South Bronx, police say.

It happened on May 1 on East 152nd Street near Courtland Avenue in Melrose.

Video shows suspect ambush woman in the Bronx
In surveillance video, you see the attacker ambush a woman with a belt, wrapping it around her neck and dragging her to the ground. The woman appears to be knocked unconscious.

The video shows the man position her body between two parked cars. Police say the man then raped her.

The victim was hospitalized, treated and released.

The video was posted online earlier this week, and police say they were able to quickly make an arrest.

Bronx man arrested in violent rape, assault
Kashaan Parks, 39, was arrested Saturday and has been charged with rape, assault, strangulation, sex abuse, public lewdness and harassment. It is unknown when he will go before a judge.

The victim told police she recognized Parks from the neighborhood but didn't know him personally.

Despite news of the arrest, some women in the neighborhood are still nervous.

"If it could happen to her, it could happen to anybody and that we're not safe. None of us are safe, and it's been like that for a while, but it just feels like... I'm scared now that the weather is going to get hot, that the crime is going to get worse. So yeah, I feel bad for her. I hope she's OK," neighbor Christina Torres said.

NYPD released photos of two men, who rapped a girl around 6:30 p.m. in a building at the Jefferson Houses near East 112th St. and First Ave. (NYPD)

A 12-year-old girl was dragged up a staircase and raped on the rooftop of her East Harlem NYCHA building, police and sources said Monday.

Two young men, who appear to be teenagers, attacked the girl around 6:30 p.m. Sunday in a building at the Jefferson Houses near East 112th St. and First Ave., cops said.

The teens pulled the girl up a set of stairs to the building’s roof landing and raped her. The victim did not know her attackers, who fled on foot after the terrifying assault, according to police.

The girl lives in the building she was attacked in.

“We don’t know those boys,” a male relative of the victim said. “We don’t know nothing.”

The preteen was taken to an area hospital after the attack and is recovering, according to a female relative.

“She’s going to be fine,” said a woman, who did not want to be identified.

Police on Monday released photos of the predators, and ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.

A fired worker at a computer repair store shot his former boss in a broad daylight attack on the Upper West Side Thursday – then escaped through subway tunnels and briefly hid under a train, according to sources and local store owners.

The irate shooter blasted the 47-year-old victim once in the shoulder and once in the leg at West 69th Street and Columbus Avenue around 9:20 a.m., police said.

The two worked together at the nearby Lincoln Business Machines Incorporated, sources said — and the gunman was a remote worker who had been fired shortly before the shooting, several local store owners told The Post.

The victim was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Meanwhile, the shooter fled into the 72nd Street train station, where he crept under an A train in the tunnel – and somehow managed to continue his escape bid, sources said.

The runaway gunman — who was still on the loose Wednesday afternoon — wreaked havoc on some straphangers’ commutes.

Passengers on one train were asked to lie on the subway floor and then evacuate as cops searched for the shooter, according to video obtained by The New York Times.

One rider snapped shots of people curled up on the ground, and walking through the darkened tunnel.

“My super pleasant subway ride to work this morning!!” she posted on X. “Love the C train!!! Nothing like an active gunman on the train to wake you up for the day!”

The politically correct unnamed nig.

The still-at-large suspect is a man in his 40s last seen wearing a black hoodie, green jacket, tan pants and carrying a black firearm, authorities said.

A manager at the computer business declined to comment.

A woman who lives above the computer shop said she watched as tensions boiled over between the shooter – who apparently worked remotely – and his employer.

“They started arguing inside the store and then right out here, yes, in front of the store. And then all the way down to the corner,” she said.

“He was working remotely, doing some service for the computer company,” the neighbor said. “There apparently was some kind of a problem over money. I can’t remember exactly what he was screaming but it was something about money and something about being cheated or wronged
 It was terrifying.

“It was all about the situation with work and he came down here. Oh my God, I can’t believe this.”

Birgilio Rojas, 56, who owns Traviata Pizza next door, said he saw the victim regularly for “many, many years.”

“Sometimes I need a copy or something made and he gives it to me and he comes here for the slices,” Rojas said. “[He’s] a nice guy, you know, he’s part of the neighborhood.”

Maya Shatsky, 25, who lives around the corner from the shooting scene, said she was getting ready for work when she heard the shots ring out.

She heard sirens blaring about five minutes later – and then stepped outside with her roommate, where they comforted an Uber Eats driver left shaken by the violence, she said.

“He was there during the event, and so we were talking to him and consoling him,” she said. “He was having a really hard time and just in shock. Everyone was in shock.

“[The driver] was going into the coffee shop that was across the street from where the [shooter] was – the coffee shop that’s right in front of the bus stop,” she added. “And first he heard the gunshots, and he looked across the street, because he thought [something happened] across the street. And then he saw that the man started shooting through the street towards the bus stop.”

Shatsky said she and her roommate – who both grew up on the “family-oriented Upper West Side” – are troubled by the unexpected violence.

“We’re just shocked,” she said. “Like something like that doesn’t just happen outside of our doorstop, maybe in like Times Square, somewhere like that. But not at 69th and Columbus at 9:30, 9 a.m.”

“We feel generally very safe, still,” Shatsky acknowledged. “We love the Upper West Side, and I don’t actually know how that happened and what happened outside there. We were just shocked.”

A New York-based car influencer and YouTuber was killed when he crashed his tricked-out BMW in a street race in front of horrified witnesses on a Queens expressway Wednesday morning.

Bronx native Andre Beadle, known on social media as “1Stockf30,” was driving at a “high rate of speed” east on the Nassau Expressway near JFK Airport just after 1 a.m. when he lost control and slammed into a light post, the NYPD told The Post.

Beadle, 25, was racing in the left lane as he flew down the roadway when he suddenly swerved across the road into the right shoulder, striking the metal pole.

The influencer, who has more than 233,000 Instagram followers, was thrown out of his purple 2023 BMW M240.

First responders rushed Beadle to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
